All three players are experienced instrumental teachers who are committed to popularising the instruments and encouraging new players of all ages.

We offer a variety of 'concert-cum-talks' that may be pitched at different levels according to the age and experience of the audience.
These include:
  • introducing the instruments

  • demonstrating their individual characteristics, tonal qualities and the variety achieved by grouping these in different permutations

  • discussing factors which influence the choice and development of repertoire - today as well as in the past

Our associated curiosity group, The Growlers, offers a light-hearted introduction to some of the lower members of the woodwind family.
